Amsterdam, 7 December 2016 - The Stichting Continuïteit PostNL has, as an independent legal entity, taken note of the revised final and conditional proposal from bpost of 1 December 2016 to form a combination with PostNL to combine the businesses of PostNL and bpost by way of a public offer by bpost for all of the issued and outstanding ordinary shares in the capital of PostNL.

The Stichting has also taken note of the announcement made by  PostNL on 7 December 2016 in which the above mentioned proposal of bpost is rejected. The Stichting Continuïteit PostNL will closely monitor the situation and will make further announcements if and when such is warranted.
